CRE8TIVE CON 2023

 Tasks Accomplished

  • Designed advertisements for social media
  • Created illustrations for the advertisements
  • Designed brand materials for events

While working as an intern and a as contracted designer at AAMBC Inc., I was assigned a number of tasks to help promote their event CRE8TIVE CON. My designs mostly included social media ads to market the convention, and the panels during events. I was also tasked with creating brand materials for events. Below are some of my personal favorite designs as well as ones that were well received by other team members.

CAROUSEL INFOGRAPHIC

To help inform people of CRE8TIVE CON, I made an infographic for Instagram. Using the brand’s green, orange, black,
and white color scheme; I created a bright contrast to catch people’s attention. I added my own icons/illustrations to reflect the reasons for attending C8C23. In addition to making carousel panels, I also made a story version with the
same format.

ATTEND CRE8TIVE CON 23 CAROUSEL

To give people more reasons to attend Cre8tive Con I was tasked with making another carousel. Using the color scheme in the branding guide, I added the reasons within a square and added arrows to signify that it is a carousel. For the background, I used a multicolored brick wall from the branding guide and made it large enough to move continuously throughout the post.

HERLENZ PANEL

For the HerLenz Panel, I wanted to make a post that would be easy to find and stand out. I made the event title large and contrasted it with the background brick colors. I wanted the text to be easy to read but look interesting, so I made the list of people and event date on a slanted line to gather more attention.

CREATIVE MIXER AND SOCIAL HOUR

For their Social Mixer event, I was tasked with making a series of ads that used a photo from a previous year at CRE8TIVE CON. Using the brand colors I made another slanted line design to give the event title and information a unique look. Then with the photo provided, I encased it in a white circle to make it stand out among the design.
